From 1st May 2024, NHS Hampshire & IOW ICB terminating its contract with Hampshire County Council to deliver the direct payment service to ICB clients and moving to a service called Virtual Wallet, provided by People Places Lives (PPL).
From 1st May 2024, payments to your high street bank account will be processed by PPL. In order for PPL to process payments to you from this date, it is essential that you provide your direct payment bank account details to PPL, before Friday 12th April 2024.

Your Virtual Wallet account will be created for you, using the information provided by NHS Hampshire & IOW ICB.
If you have an email address, PPL can give you a username and password which will enable you to log-in and view your Virtual Wallet account online.

This will mean you have access to your account 24/7 and can log-in to view your account balance at a time convenient to you.
If you do not wish to access your Virtual Wallet account online yourself, with approval from NHS Hampshire & IOW ICB, we are able to provide access to a trusted individual who could view your account online on your behalf.
You also have access to our Virtual Wallet Supported Account Team, who are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, either on the telephone, via email, or using the web-chat facility.
All individuals that are transferring to Virtual Wallet from an Enham managed account will have a supported Virtual Wallet account.
This means that the Virtual Wallet support team will help you to manage your Virtual Wallet account using a communication method most appropriate for you. The team will discuss with you how we can best support you when they contact you.
